IT’S ALL ABOUT VOTES DUMMY

The Democrats, Progressives, or Socialists, whatever you call them, don’t care about legal or illegal immigrants. They do care about becoming the dominant party in America. These modern day Socialists have clearly chosen an ambitious, but possible strategy to out voting the Conservatives and Republicans. It is called open immigration, primarily from non European or non English speaking nations.  Based on their success with capturing the Black vote in America in past elections, the progressives have decided to encourage immigrants from Hispanic and Arab countries.

They are using ‘chain’ immigration, a lottery based immigration selection process, a liberal visa granting process with weak enforcement of visa holders overstaying the time limits of their visas, open borders, inadequate border control forces and cumbersome legal requirements for returning illegal aliens apprehended at our borders. Resistance to a border wall is part of this Progressive plan.

And then there is the hysterical Progressive resistance to ‘Voter I.D ‘ and the refusal to take the possibility of fraudulent voting seriously. In any locality where the Progressives hold political power, they make it easy for illegal aliens to vote, often thru the driver’s license process. This is all part of the same Progressive plan to reduce the power of their opposition, primarily the Republican Party and it is working. If you see the Second or First Amendment weakened or repealed and a broad attack on the Electoral College gain credibility, you will soon see the individual freedoms you now enjoy be diminished. It may then be too late for you to protest. By following your generous nature toward others, you have destroyed the American Experiment of individual freedom given to us by the sweat and blood of past Americans who left us this gift to protect and cherish.

WAKE UP- WE ARE IN A POWER STRUGGLE

Second amendment repeal, end Electoral College, citizenship question on census form, no voter I.D., open borders, unlimited immigration, baseless charges of Republican collusion with Russians during the election, corruption in the FBI and Department of Justice, politicization of the civil service, globalization of the economy, failure to adequately fund the military, appalling failure of the FBI and local law enforcement to protect our schools and the main stream media to factually expose corruption and abuse of power wherever it is found.

The leftist, socialist, democrats, big government ideologues  and liberals are on one side. The rest of us are on the other and we are not as skilled as our opponents. Our opponents keep us off guard by constantly shifting areas of their attacks. The truth is that none of these issues is critical to our opposition. Saul Alinsky, the guru of Obama and Clinton, is right. The issue doesn’t matter. The issues are all part of the struggle for power. The left will used any or all of these issues to destroy their opposition, which is us.

While we are trying to fix, solve or improve all the issues that affect our lives, the opponents are focused on seizing power. History paints a clear picture. Once the left wins, it must use coercive measures to control society. There is no way bloodless way back. If you don’t want to look back a hundred years or more, just look at Cuba or Venezuela or California. Wake up this is serious and time is running out. Do not let the leftist elites follow their ideology and destroy the country for the rest of us.

TEST OF THE PRESIDENT’S PATIENCE.

I am both pleased and dismayed to see President Trump display so much patience for his appointed Attorney-General. Here is the first Senator to publicly endorse candidate Trump. What’s he done since then besides concealing he intended to recluse himself from nearly everything involving the Russians, Trump’s campaign, the illegal activities of the Clinton’s and the appointment of a Special Consul who should have been disqualified by the law due to his longstanding close relationships with persons involved with the areas under investigation?  Senator Sessions did not have the candor, honesty or courage to tell President Trump about his plans for recusing himself because he wanted to be the Attorney-General no matter what the impact would be on the new President. As a result he has done more damage to the Trump Presidency than any other person, including all the deep state people who have burrowed deep into the Federal bureaucracy and support the Obama cadres now running the Justice Department and other sensitive parts of the Government.

What is wrong with Attorney-General Sessions? Are his former colleagues right when they say he is incompetent and just doesn’t know how to take control and manage a large department like DOJ.

It’s bad enough  he doesn’t lead the charge to re-establish the ‘rule of law’, he’s also deliberately delaying a proper investigation of serious corruption and abuse of federal law and procedures such as applying for warrants from the FISA Court. The recused AG is now pretending to investigate several critical issues but the only result will be a review of the DOJ’s Inspector-General’s report by a U.S. Attorney from Utah. Under Jeff Sessions, the DOJ looks like it did under the Obama reigns of AGs Lynch and Holder. At least we knew what side they were on.

This is not an investigation. It is a whitewash. Mr.President, the American people don’t have your patience. It is past time to take control of the Justice Department under new leadership.

POTUS AND THE SPENDING BILL

Put yourself in President Trump’s position. Serious national security crises are looming. Just to name a few, North Korea, Russia, China and Iran. Your first responsibility as President is to protect the American people. You can’t do that with words alone. Diplomacy is useless without military muscle to back it up. Under Obama and the RINO republicans the military was badly under funded thanks to sequestration policies. Don’t forget the RINOS  in the Senate and House supported the Obama policy of sequestration that brought the American military down to pre WWII strength. Now that you gave the Republicans the House, the Senate and the White House they are still willing to under fund military and national security requirements. Border security being a glaring example.

Without true Conservative leaders as the Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader in the Senate, President Trump has to make compromises he doesn’t want to support. But without giving Pelosi and Schumer what they wanted he could not get the desperately needed jump-start required to bring the military up to the strength required to defend our country. Mr. Ryan and Mr. McConnell need to be replaced. That is what all conservative Republicans should be focused on. Deal with the real problem. It is not the Progressive Democrats. It is the Republican Congressional leadership or lack thereof. They would not shed a tear over the failure of the Trump Presidency.

Professor: The New Era

A  fictional discourse between a political science Professor and his students.

“Good to see you all looking so alert and thank for putting up with the last four weeks of class. I trust my replacements bought fresh perspectives to you. There is so much going on between the Trump forces and those who absolutely hate him. I’ve never seen the like of these times, even in the worst of Nixon and Watergate. So, I just had to go to Washington and check with my old contacts to see what is happening. Rather than the almost impossible task of briefing you on what I learned, or think I learned, let’s do a question and answer format.

“Who would like to start?” Hands shot up and the Professor nodded at Alison who said, “Democracy by its nature is naturally messy but why is it so difficult for the Republican Congress to pass legislation?”

“Right to the heart of things. Good question. First the ideological struggle between Republicans and Democrats must cross a much wider gap. Both parties have undergone radical change in the last few years and neither one seems to recognize the extent of the change. The Democratic change occurred first and is now firmly entrenched. The old party with its ability to work with the opposition is gone. The Progressives have taken over and moved the ideological base of the party far to the left. Just look at the people who are now party leaders:  Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and a host of other governors and members of Congress. This move has cost them hundreds of political positions in the federal, state and local governments. It will take time to move their base to the new socialist ideology. During this period, they cannot govern, but they can obstruct and are doing that very well with their get rid of President Trump at any cost using any means that work. Don’t miss the Saul Alinsky message in their tactics.

“The Republican party has also changed, perhaps even more dramatically. The move of their base, with the leadership and appeal of President Trump, to a populist nationalist party, is being fought very hard by the entrenched Republican establishment. They are, I believe more effective in stopping the Trump Program than the Democrats. Neither party seems to recognize the playing field has shifted as they are still playing the old game and wondering why it doesn’t work.

“At stake is the allegiance and well-being of millions of Americans. Slightly more than half of the popular vote was won by the progressive candidate. That should give any Republican pause and get them working to forward the Trump program.

“The appeal of the Sanders’ program is typical of the success of the appeal of socialism to an un-informed segment of the population that doesn’t understand the world- wide failure of Socialism. Cuba and Venezuela are recent and nearby examples of the failure and ugliness of the social cost on the lives of millions of people.

“The short answer to Alison’s question is that the ideological gap in American society is now wider than at any time since the Civil War. This is no time for observing the action while straddling an ideological fence. There will be no reaching across the aisle to get things done unless the Republicans get rid of their do nothing Congressional leaders, go to simple majority votes in the Senate, shut down the insane look for collusion between the Trump campaign/ administration and get some responsive leadership in the Department of Justice. I hope the 2018 elections will weed out the Republicans who continue to obstruct the governing process. My recent time in Washington has convinced me that this is the time to stand up and be counted.”

The Professor: Realities and Challenges in the Trump era

A fictional discourse between a learned political science professor and his students.

In little over a month, I’ll be seeing some of you in my honors seminar. For those of you who have other plans and commitments, I’ll continue to send you my thoughts and analysis of current events.

I believe this next class maybe the most important one I’ve ever taught. There is too much at stake for any American who loves this country to sit on the sidelines. The realities are fundamentally frightening. We have just come thru an extraordinary period of destructive national government policies. I’m not being a pessimist when I say, we cannot survive as free democratic nation unless we can recover from the results of the last ten or so years.

First the realities as I see them. The nation is deeply divided between the people who want the welfare promises of socialism and those who believe there is no individual freedom and prosperity under any form of socialism. In a cradle to grave government, there are very few individual choices. An absence of individual choice defines the absence of freedom. President Obama knowingly presided over a transformation process that would ultimately lead to a socialist government. A process that Hillary Clinton would have continued. Remember they both made no secret of the allegiance they paid to Mr. Saul Alinsky.

It was Mr. Alinsky, a brilliant revolutionary writer, who provided the intellectual under pinning to the Progressive movement, including the name. Mr. Alinsky stressed to his followers that the terms socialism and communism would not attract wide support in America and to use the term progressive instead. He also used the terms ‘leading from behind’ and ‘the issue is never the issue.’ I will cover the political takeover of the center/left Democratic Party by the Progressives. Today the Democratic Party of the American political scene is only a misleading name for the Progressives.

The Progressives do not accept that Donald J. Trump won the national election and is now their president. They are doing, and will do anything to bring down his Presidency before it can establish itself and bring America back. They are supported and, even led, by the national media, our higher educational institutions, and the entertainment world. The deluge of misinformation and lies from our once renown media outlets, is having an effect. Without the Presidents tweets, there would be no other broadly disseminated information source. I believe that is true but am still amazed by the weirdness of that statement.

Even though President Trump won the election and selected his cabinet and other government employees, his own Department of Justice, is at best, not engaged and at worst, actually hostile. How else can you explain the existence of a Special Consul when no crime has been identified and it is staffed and run by those openly opposed to the Trump Administration? How could this happen when the Attorney-General and his deputy were appointed by the President?

In my seminar, we will examine the past policies of President Obama and apply the America First principle to both domestic and international actions. Advanced warning, don’t sign up if you base your arguments on emotional beliefs. Just the facts, please.

The Professor: Russia and Elections

A fictional discourse between a learned political science professor and his students.

I stress in my seminars that the modern political scientist or journalist must know how to think outside the box, have a solid understanding of history and, above all, a strong dose of logic and common sense. It seems there are very few who can check these three boxes. Look at the fervor over the alleged collusion of the Trump campaign with the Russians. According to the Progressive/Socialists, often referred to as Democrats, President Trump only won the national election because of Russian meddling in the election.

What the Progressive followers of Obama and Clinton don’t want to acknowledge and the Congressional Republicans are too timid and self-serving to say, is that the Russians have always meddled in elections, especially in the era of the Comintern organization of the Lenin/Stalin period. But the Russians have never tried to influence an election in favor of a capitalistic nationalist party. They have spent billions on hundreds of foreign political campaigns and elections to further the spread of communism and socialism.

Why would they try to help Trump when the Obama administration systematically weakened America’s military and economic power? Obama pulled missile defense systems out of eastern Europe, curtailed the American development of an ICBM defense, allowed Russia to put a strong military presence in the Middle East, including a naval base in the Mediterranean, refused Ukrainian requests for weapons to combat the Russian takeover of the Crimea and large parts of Ukraine and crippled the development and export of American oil and natural gas.

Candidate Trump made no secret of the fact, that he would rebuild America’s military and economic power. Hillary Clinton pledged to continue President Obama’s policies. The Russians are not dumb when it comes to advancing their national interests. Yes, the Russians can be counted on to meddle in elections in favor of their national interests. Candidate Trump’s campaign promises were and are not in Russia’s national interests. The only campaign and administration that have colluded with the Russians is that of the progressive regime of Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Today’s democratic/progressive messages are tied to the Alinsky strategy of using any and all issues to attack and destroy the opposition. Progressives may take any side of any issue as long as it furthers the progressive cause. Most of the national media is fully supporting progressive policies. Don’t look for truth or logic  in progressive messaging. They are not important. Sizing power is.
